Warlock Dreadsteed mats update

Does anyone on my server have the Dreadsteed mats, that is willing to help a fellow lock?

I have searched and found the lock on my server from the site list, but unfortunately I can't contact them. Perhaps they are elsewhere.....Age of Conan perhaps.

Maybe the admin could ask the locks on the list to clarify if they are still able to help/playing and try to get the list updated.

We can ask for the people to update the list but if they're not reading the forums its very difficult for us to contact them - which is where you come in.

Its possible your realm has an independantly maintained website, and it certainly has one maintained by Blizzard. Those are your best bets, along with major Alliance guilds that will almost certainly have a website to call their own.

We have a wide audience, but we can't reach everyone.

Words of wisdom, Theleb , however there is another option which could ultimately be more rewarding.

Buy the mats yourself. Maybe wait till you've got a couple of levels in outland (if you haven't already)to make a little gold to cover it. Lv62 arrives pretty quick.

Perhaps ask around on your realm if there are a couple more locks that are willing to pay you a pre-agreed sum for you to perform the ritual for them when you all go. That will cut down your expenses somewhat. 50g per lock is reasonable.

Not only that, but in future you can help younger locks get theirs, and assist them in what is a warlock rite of passage. For a modest fee ofc.

I've helped plenty of locks this way and it always gives me a fuzzy warm feeling to see them overjoyed when they finally get the Dreadsteed. /hugs /loves and all.

Be that guy you need, and be him for others. You'll more than make your money back too.

I got my own mats together and I actually did the quest around 61 - and as Mr V says its quite a nice feeling to be able to help other Warlocks get their flamin' nag

(I did one only last week - best gold I ever spent? almost).

Coincidence... I said maybe wait til 62, but this was before you'd filled out your character info...

It's so worth it. You'll never forget the first time you summon it. Some people dislike the quest but I really enjoy it. After a couple of times you'll be really pro at guiding the little 'uns through.

Be sure to direct your other locks to the guide here on the site so they know what to expect: Dreadsteed Quest Guide - You'll be their lore master and elder warlock for the day! And don't forget the Crescent Key!

Hi Scarey

Im on aggramar, I have the key and mats, and am happy to help with diremaul part of quest.

I do ask however that you have a lodestone so that you can charge the artefacts, and you would need to organise a group (occasionally I have friends come along, mostly old school players who come to DM for nostalgia, but I cant guarantee that). Oh and by the way please read up whats expected, and bring lots of shards (the lower level the group, the more shards you are likely to need)

Keep an eye out for me as Roctor, and give me a whisper ingame

However, I got my hot dobbin last night after buying the mats and finishing the long quest line!!!!! Complete with heated seat

The ride is awesome, and I can only restate what others have been saying about whether it is still worth getting the Dreadsteed. This ride rocks and it feels special to ride around, where everyone knows you are a lock. You can feel the jealousy/respect!

The den has been invaluable while i've been leveling, with endless help and tips. Fantastic site and locks are the only class that have it

ive re-run the dreadsteed quest 5 times now all via being contacted from the mat holders list......it gets more and more satisfying every time i see a happy lock on his mount afterwards
