Dark Iron Dreadsteed Availability

Hey everyone,

I just wanted to say, I've finally gotten my Dreadsteed! /cheer!

In the process, I also picked up the final 3 mats for the quest, so if any of you find yourself in need, and play on the Dark Iron Realm, feel free to send me an in game mail or whisper. I've been waiting a long time to be able to offer this to my fellow Den goers.

Depending on what level I am (see my info on the left) we might need a few other people to help. I have a pally friend the same level as I am that I'm always playing with that I'm sure would be willing to help. Check with me to ensure I have the Crescent Key as I expect to get it soon.

I used to do this quest on my old Alliance lock many times (approx 40) so I'm very familiar with what needs to be done.

TY! I cannot tell you how long I've been waiting. Since I rerolled on the Horde side of life I've been dreaming of her (yeah, my mounts a she devil). It feels good to be back in the saddle again.

Incidentally, I've stumbled across a nifty macro I've been using with my other epic mount (picked up one o them epic blood elf chickens too) that randomly selects a mount that you have. Now every time I mount up its a surprise! I'm typing this on pure memory power, so if it doesn't work just right you'll have to wait until I get home to verify the script.

/castrandom SummonDreadsteed(summon), Swift Purple Hawkstrider;

Simply replace the mount names with those you have spell or in your bags. Make sure you type it exactly as it appears in your spell book or bag. The safest way is to shift click the spell/bag item so that it copies it exactly into the script.

OK, grats Pernicious. But you can settle the argument that has been going on since the inception of this website. Is it worth it?

I've got three, so I obviously feel it is. But you waited so long and really sacrificed to get it.

Absolutely! Seriously, how can it not be? I've said numerous times that the Dreadsteed is by far the coolest land mount in the game. Go ahead and try to picture the banner below with a hawkstrider, robochicken, raptor, kodo, or even the undead skeletal mount. It wouldn't be nearly as intimidating as the Dreadsteed proves to be. And its all ours! Mwahahhahahaaaaa!
