Longest Heigan Dance Ever?
So recently on Casually Hardcore there was a letter outlining a 45 minute Heigan Dance (the usual 1 tank, 1 healer, 1 dps; rest of the raid DEAD), and I got to thinking... What is the longest you've ever had the Heigan Dance run? (single attempt) |

First time doing it on 25 man we were down to 2 tanks, well one was our off tank and before duel spec, and a healer. 47 minutes the fight took. I was both sad and funny at the same time.

36 minutes on 10 man. Just me (warrior tank) and a healer after about the 2nd dance. That's what I get for MT'ing for a newbie pug... Thankfully it wasn't 25 man... |

43 minutes: tank+healer+hunter who ran out of arrows 20 minutes in, and promptly brought his staff skill from 1-400. He tried to tank the last 30k health and failed :(

27 minutes for first 10 man kill. Me (DPS), tank and Healer were only ones after 2nd dance. The corpses of our guildmates made great zone markers though. |

Longest success for my guild was 21 minutes and a couple of seconds. Prot Paladin Tank, Tree Druid Healer (who started dpsing in between heals) and myself. Amazingly, everyone that spent all of that time watching did MUCH better next time. Now we tend to manage it within two or three cycles. |
