Outlands Rep doesn't drop with level?
I was reading today that if you wanted to do nothing but instances and you realised later you needed rep, you can go back at any level and get the same amount of rep as if you were level 60. Can anyone confirm this?

Re: Outlands Rep doesn't drop with level?
Most rep quest are repeatable. They just tend to cut off after a certain point depending on the amount of rep you get and the faction. Like for argent dawn you only get rep off boss kills and token turns at revered. I would think that the same holds true for other factions.

What you read is correct Mystique, if you complete a quest that gains reputation at level 70, you will receive the exact same amount of rep as if you were to do it at 60 (or what ever level it was meant for). Unlike the current quests, the reputation does not decrease with your higher level.

Re: Outlands Rep doesn't drop with level?
This change was applied in patch 2.01 before BC was released. Rep from quests is no longer affected by character level.
I became quite popular in Thunder bluff at level 60 by going back to the Tauren starting zone and doing all the quests. |
