Blood Elf/Draenei Starting Areas

Anyone else think Horde kinda got shafted somewhat? Draenei starting areas easily took me to level 22, at which point I was revered with exodar, honoured with darnasus and stormwind and close to honoured with ironforge/gnomergan

After levelling my new BE warlock up, The quests are starting to die out at 18 and im neutral with 3/5 factions, friendly with UC and hon with Silvermoon. The idea behind tranquillien was good but the items with the exception of the cloak arent that great when you can actually get the rep to use them unless you're a new player and often times quests rewards are better/same.

I admit I havent done the elite troll dude or irongut/knucklerot yet(probably wont, unfearable elite orges are worrysome at this level :P) But unless I've missed and entire load of quests I have to go to the barrens/silverpine and do a load of green catchup quests to get quests for my level.

Re: Blood Elf/Draenei Starting Areas

That actually surprises me because I got to level 18 with my Blood Elf, but I had a Priest grouped with me the entire time... so I got less XP from each quest/kill than you would have solo. I always assumed because of that, that other normal solo players would have gotten to the early 20's...

I can't remember all my factions, but I know I came out with Revered with Silvermoon, max Exalted with Tranquillien and honored with Undercity.

I haven't played Draenei so I can't comment on their starting zones yet.

As for bloodeves, it sounds like you may have skipped some of the questgivers at lower levels. If you do all the quests eversong and ghostlands should take you to at least level 20. On my last bloodelf alt I didn't move to ghostlands until 12 because I still had quests to finish in eversong.

Hmm I moved to ghostlands at 12 too. Maybe I missed an area but kinda doubt it, most of map is explored. Oh well maybe I got really lucky with quest drops :D

Re: Blood Elf/Draenei Starting Areas

I moved to Ghostlands at 12, and left at 22... Except for 2 levels (12+13) spent grinding the dead scar for cloth, I did only quests. I did however kill every single cat and bat out there to skin them.
