Re: How to get to winterspring?

Winterspring is at Kalimdor. So you will have to fly to Mehethil and take a boat to Theremore.

If you have the FP to Felwood, fly there and run north into the Timbermaw cave (they will be hostile at first, I cleared some quest to get them to neutral). There are 2 exits, one of them will bring you to Winterspring. That's what I did to get there.

....or have a guildmate or friendly warlock summon you there and get the FP, without having to deal with the Timbermaw!

Re: How to get to winterspring?

Im pretty sure i had iHoT when i did this. So, I summonded my voidwalker soulstoned myself and then ran through it. Got 5 mobs on me used iHoT, and then kept running till my health got down. I saced voidy and kept running untill i died. Then, I waited a bit for all the mobs to reset and ressurected myself. By this time my iHoT was up. I ran untill i got 5 mobs again and used iHoT, and by this time i was out.

Re: How to get to winterspring?

just go in there and kill everything that moves, until you get to the other side. Its not gonna be an easy fight, but hell its gonna be fun!! [its always fun to slaughter ] Thats what i did anyways, couldnt be bothered to do all the Qs to become neutral/friendly. Kill em all.

Re: How to get to winterspring?

I you want to avoid having to fight them enter Felwood from the south through Ashenvale. Just off the road on your left a bit is a Furbolg who will give you a quest to kill some naughty fubolgs in a camp nearby. Completing that 1 quest should give you the rep/feathers to turn in to get you to unfriendly.

At unfriendly you can pass through Timbermaw untouched but you can't talk to their vendor or anything. Mobs will be orange to you.

Re: How to get to winterspring?

If you don't have the flight points the best way is to get to Menethil, then take the boat to Auberdine in Darkshore (night elven village). Then run south, through Ashenvale (remembering to pick up the flight points in Auberdine and Astranaar en route). After Astranaar take the first left - it is quite a walk - and you will end up in Felwood. Take the path all the way to the north (there are 2 flight points in Felwood to pick up) and you will eventually get to the entrance to Timbermaw Hold. How you get through the tunnel is up to you, but when you get to the point where the path divides, continue straight ahead as the other way will take you to Moonglade.

When you get the flight point at Everlook it is a short flight from Auberdine - I tend to take the portal to Darnassus from Shattrath, and fly from Ruther'an Village on Teldrassil.

Hope this helps

Re: How to get to winterspring?

I did this last night ->

do that quest by the mailbox in SW (that seasonal one for chinese new year), it should send to you to the park to talk to a guy. He gives you a quest to launch these rocket/fireworks. Complete that (will cost you about 5 silver to buy the fireworks), and you will get this scroll that takes you to the Moonglade. Use the scroll in the park there, under the moonlight, and once you are in the moon glade, run out of there. You will exit through this tunnel were the timbermaw guys are. The end of the tunnel is winterspring.
...but like the others have mentioned, if you are hated by the timbermaw guys, they'll chase you as you run through the tunnel (and the tunnel is long!)

But that's the easiest way for me to do it ;)
