Azuregos

I was fighting in Azshara this weekend, first time I have really spent any time in there as previously, I never thought there were many quests. I went AFK for a while and when I came back I could see Azuregos yelling over and over on my screen. Something like "Come, little ones. Face me!" or something. I figured it was just some NPC or Mob, but what I wasn't sure about was, every time he yelled I had *** TELEPORT *** flash on my screen, why?

He/She's a forty person outdoor raidboss. Not sure about the Teleport thingy.

Anyone know if the encounter changed since the Emerald Dream/Silithus content?

i've heard nothing about teleport change with azuregos since silithus content (he's in a part of a big quest but nothing else to me), maybe a raid was fighting and azuregos wanted to tp a lot of people ;)

Hmm ok, well as long as it wasn't a warning for me to evacuate or anything. I waited around (aren't I a rebel?) to see if anything happened if I didn't leave and nothing did, eventually Azuregos just stopped yelling. I did a /who and there were only a few people in the zone (like 5) so I don't think he was killed.

Wierd.

hmm i don't know how to explain, maybe a raid of the opposite faction of yours or sommeone who wanted to solo him ^^ (like a hunter : one shot + Feign death)
or you've stopped your afk when he was killed ^^

I bet you are using CT Raid Assist. I have it too and whenever i'm in Azshara and someone is trying to down Azzy i get that same message. If you're really annoyed I believe you can disable it in the options menu of CT Raid Assist.
