Newb seeks help with Annora.

Ã‚ Ã‚ Hi, I'm seeking advice for reaching Annora the enchanting trainer. Let me give you a quick rundown, this is my first ever character so there's tons I have to learn. I'm a level 49 warlock spec'd 31-9-0. I'm not sure how to link my character or I'd let you take a peek. I'm sure my build could use some tweeking(or alot) but that's a totally different post. I've scoured the most popular WoW sites for everything I could on reaching her and strategy tips. I've loaded up two backpacks with every mat I have and gotten spanked twice. I've been trying to solo her since it seems alot of people say they did and I'm not in a guild. Hiring an escort is illegal in my state.
Ã‚ Ã‚ Here's where I run into trouble. I can make it all the way to the room where she's at no problem so I'll just start there. I read a post somewhere about this strategy but I can't seem to do it. Since there's like 9 or 10 of those linked spiders I tried to send in the VW and Rain of Fire as long as I could while they're in a pack attacking him. I sac him when he's close to death then they come at me and I use Hellfire. Sounds easy enough, sounds like it should work, but no luck. Is this strategy flawed? Is there a better way? Am I in over my head trying to solo this? Using that method I looked around(after death) and see I only killed three out of ten spiders doing that. Any advice would be appreciated.

P.S.- Love the site. I've learned alot of great tips just from reading posts, thank you.

Well sorry, I have no idea how to solo it if what you described is not working.

Personally I had a 60 priest and a 60 pally friend come and help me out, only took about 20min from my asking in guild to our clearing and Annora showing up. Heh they even stayed around while I chanted and trained and I gave them lower level enchants *grins*.

I think until you are a fair amount higher than everything in the instance this one will require a group.

K for the enchanter in Uld if you have 2 60's to help it is a blast through.
If not I did my run at 49 with a 46 priest and a 45 mage (yes just a 3 man)

Solo is tough, I cant read your template from work due to firewall, but if you
plan to solo I suggest full fire or spell damage gear that you can wear. Yes
you will loose mana and health but you need the damage to eat those pesky critters up.
But as you stated ou can make it to her room easy.
Your approach is good in your attacks the only other thing that might help is get a fire protection
potion to absorb some of the damage instead of your shield, grenades, explosive sheep land mines
mortars dragonfire gun or what ever it is basically anything you can get to add dps.

Hope this helps.

one thing you can try is send in VW to grab aggro and you run like hell to the trainer, train real quick and die, go back as ghost and when you enter instance, finish your enchanting to get your skill up for next recipes. head back there and do again.

I can make it to her room pretty easy, mostly through avoidance. I take an Invis potion right after the door opens and get past the first room and like the first two bends of the tunnel and find a safe spot. Summon the VW then I only have to fight like 1 or 2 bats, 1 or 2 scorpions, and I think only 1 big lizzard, all 1on1 or 2on1 if you include the VW. That puts me right at the entrance to her room no problems. It's in there I get whacked. So frustrating to be so close, yet so far away....

When I did it, we had to clear the area of the 5-6 scorpids who are sitting in a group right at the opening to her tent. All of the scorpids had to be killed before the trainer would appear.. I was worried I had the wrong place, but she appeared about 10seconds after the last scorpid died.

Think I had it easiest. Couple weeks ago because of the server lag the Instances wouldn't pop for about 5 minutes so entire zone was empty.

Nice casual walk to pit, wait for pops, kill scorps, and bingo train away.

I was worried the Instances were bugged again and I wouldn't be ablke to do it, but was told it was "delayed pop" so just waited.

Had a couple friends with me so wasn't a big deal anyways but thought it was funny. We killed a couple named but got crap drops so glad I never have to go back.

Easiest way to get to her is from back door also, imo.
