First time through and end-game instance?

Hey guys,

First character is almost 60, and I've never run strat, lbrs, scholo, etc. I'm 57 now, and I find it hard to get a group because of this. Should I wait till 60 to work on getting the other 5 pieces of Dreadmist, or should I just be persistent/go on a guild run?

Just keep trying, it's still sometimes a little tough at 57, but PUGs/Guild runs will still take a slightly lower lock most of the time, because of the added stam buff/wipe protection/healthstones/etc. just be patient, it'll come

You're not going to get a lot of opportunities to run scholo/strat/lbrs/ubrs until you are a 60. If the opportunity is there, then take it, but I wouldn't spend a lot of time LFG.

Also, dreadmist sucks. If you're going to go through those instances, there's much better gear to be had.

After 1.10 patch (where Blizz reduced the maximum number of players inside Strat/Scholo/LBRS/UBRS from 10/10/10/15 to 5/5/5/10), you'll have a hard time finding a group with sub-60s. Maybe a lvl58-59 priest, but 99% will consist of 60s.

And, don't bother with Dreadmist. There are so many nice items for a warlock in the abovementioned instances, Dreadmist should only be picked up until you get something better. It's not a set worth collecting, due to the low amount of +damage. Dreadmist bracers upgraded to Deathmist (takes half an hour and some gold) are decent enough, there aren't really that many nice bracers available.
