Undead Mob Listing?
Having fairly recently discovered the joys- and occasional pains- of AoE grinding, I've found that I have the best results grinding on Undead mobs because they do not flee when low on hit points like humanoids do. Animals don't flee, but their drops aren't as good as Undead's seem to be (and, as I don't skin, I can't use the hides either).
I've tried the Angerfang Gnolls in the Wetlands, but they do flee when hurt badly and they also can toss nets which make them dicey opponents. I've tried the gnolls in Hillsbrad, but the Shaman casters don't just toss Totems- they cast hard-hitting nature spells so they are iffy too. At 32, Duskwood has finally become a bit slow even when rested. What I'd love to find is a listing on Undead mobs by level so that I can find the next step up the ladder. As I'm on a PvE server, location really doesn't matter. Might anyone know where such a listing can be found? |

Re: Undead Mob Listing?
I don't think a level 32 would enjoy grinding in WPL.
Thottbot's NPC search is pretty good for that type of information. Unfortunately, it looks like slim pickens... |

Re: Undead Mob Listing?
I've been farming the satyrs in Felwood for runecloth with my Warlock and the satyrs, classified as "demons" don't run when badly hurt so I might just be able to expand the possible targets to include undead and demons.
Two new questions: Does the Beastiary search by Type on Allakahzam's require you to be a paying member of the board to use? And, Anyone know the location(S) of some 30-ish demons that need to be forzen into oblivion several at a time? |

Re: Undead Mob Listing?
I've tried doing that and the next page that loads shows Mobs By Family- Undead and nothing appears under it and the page stops loading at that point. Refresh or even closing IE and restarting it does no good. I suppose I should just email Alla and ask but I don't want him to think that I'm just looking for a handout of some kind.

Re: Undead Mob Listing?
http://wow.allakhazam.com/FAQ.html
Q: How do I find information on the site if I am not a Premium Member? A: Contrary to the rumors, all information entered into the Allakhazam database can be found by all registered users; premium and non-premium members a like. Premium members, however, have access to a refined search. Unregistered users still have access to all of the information, but cannot post. |

Re: Undead Mob Listing?
Well, that's a bit vague (not blaming you in any way Akasha).
I recall trying to do a search once and getting a "This Feature Is For Premium Members Only" message pop up. That does NOT happen when I try to list mobs by family. It'd be nice if Alla came out and defined "refined search". At any rate, thanks for taking the time to look that up. I does appreciate it. |
