Re: Signatures Similar to Circuit ones

thanks for the responses

I'll check out deviant art and I'll look for some additional style downloads. I'll also have to start experimenting with the burn and dodge tools, I have tried them out on anything yet.

I create new layers with the characters a lot, once i started doing that, I was able to create my own spell effects, and create a more three dimensional look. I'll have to keep working on them to make them look better, I was hoping there was a way to cut them out of the model viewer.

To "cut" out of the model viewer just save the picture with a solid colour background. Open it in your editor of choice and select the solid colour, invert selection, reduce selection by 1 pixel and cut it out. Then copy out any pieces you need to be over and under stuff and Bob's your uncle...

At least that's what I do.

cool thx, I'll have to try that. I've just been using the magic wand selection tool, and it just highlights an area around any particle type effects.

Re: Signatures Similar to Circuit ones

Maybe old news. Still i wanted to add it for others.

Try to avoid "handwriten" fonts. Especially in the beginning.
It's a lot easier if you use bold ones. Fonts must be functional first.
So easy reading is a must. If the words fall into the background it starts to get messy (IMHO!)
Glow effects also work better on bold ones.
Dowloading free fonts from various website does not hurt either
