Why doesn't the T4 helm look like this all the time?

I don't know about everyone else, but I hate the appearance of the T4 helm. Makes me look like Bomberman. So I usually keep it on hide helm, but the following occurred when I happened to turn it back on during the BEM mana cell daily.

try wearing spellstrike if you wanna look like crap .

precisely the reason i have show helm turned off.
