Just happened to run across this. I'm not sure if it's any good or not since I can't very well take pictures of WoW but thought some of you might want to give it a try.

This screenshot manager is supposedly a good way to keep track and edit all your pictures. The site linked here is in german(?) for the most part but there is a link on the left hand side to translate it.

Anybody who uses this gimme some feedback on how well it works.

Hmm that's interesting. I personally don't use it as I love my photoshop - comes in really handy because sometimes you get screenshots that are really dark.

As an update I realized I could test this out with screenshots I had on my system I just had to find out what the default WoW screenshot folder was. This program is a decent way to organize but has no editing capabilities really. Most of the content seems to not be implemented yet.

hi!
I'm still working on it and I try to add every good suggestion - adding a "Set Gamma" Button to make pictures brighter sounds good, I'll try to add it in an upcoming release.

If you want to try it out without WoW you have to create the following REG-Key (with windows regedit for example).

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\Blizzard Entertainment\World of Warcraft

And then add "InstallPath" as REG_SZ and put the path to your screenshots folder in it.

If you have any other comments or suggestions email me or post it here.

Hiya and welcome!

If there was a way to help set the gamma and colours would be good. Normally with some of my shots I auto-colour and auto-level in wow to brighten them up and set the colours back to looking normal.

Looks good though and there are a lot of people that don't have a program where this will come in really handy. Keep us informed of any changes :-)

Hehe you just never know who is reading these posts huh.

Like I said it's nice for organizational purposes keep us updated on it. I'm interesting in seeing all the editing that you implement. Although I don't expect this to take place of my photoshop I don't doubt that I'll use this some as well.

Looks like it's gonna be a great tool for many people.

thx
I wanted to make a MAC version and found a nice app to make win and mac (and linux) applications in one environment (REALbasic) but before I can try to make WoWSM and other tools with it I have to learn the language and how it works.

I dont know how long this will take so I cant tell you if or when I can make a mac version, sorry. :?

I prefer using my mac but in a few days I cant use it for a few months so I started to make it with Autoplay Media Studio for windows - it was designed for CD Menus and small learning CDs but you can use it to make nice apps too :D

I tried to find a mac version of it or some similar app but I could not find one yet. But I will not give up and try to find an app for mac to make such tools.

edit: I have just updated the website and its available via http://wowsm.bl4cksh33p.de now.

Nice tool!!! save me the trouble of writing PS scripts (though they are already written now... <_< )

Anyways you should try "Fractal Compresion" for the images j/k (JPG does good enough job of compressing things, sorry I digress just couldn't help it since I did that for my Digital Image processing project)

So what language did you use to write the progy? Just curious, you don't have to tell me if you don't want to

thanks
