jointhedot Character Info Jointhedotz 80 Human Warlock Darkspear Euro PvE Guild: Mercenaries Of Quan Profile: Blizzard Armory Talent Spec: 0/13/58	Well, I rolled a whole new lock for pvp... ....and he's a mage Sorry, since my lovely main Jointhedotz has started to progress in the world of pve, and since i'm a little tired of being permanently stun-locked to death I'm shortly going to be resigning her from pvp (maybe just temporarily). I racked my brains over which class to pick but ended up picking mage. I love casters and their playstyle and it just makes sense to have the extra escapes. I also started a druid for cat/tree duties who'll be being levelled in tandem with little Ridicularse just for a bit of variety. Here he is though, as he stands: The plans simple, he's being levelled through battlegrounds (the odd gear boost or grind for professions etc). I'm amazed at this, he's already gone from level 14 to 18 in WSG in a few hours fun play. Anyway, I know this is a lock site but hey, I thought I'd keep you posted anyway __________________ Posted on official forum in a lock bashing thread: A lock WILL kill you if it see's you first, like most classes WILL kill us if they see us first. Burst is OP, damn, SIGHT IS OP. NERF EYES !!!

My 3 mains are my Rogue, DK and Warlock, and IMO PVP is the most fun as the Warlock. All are well geared and have arena teams too, but I just find the Warlock to be the most fun as well as the most challenging. __________________

I have to agree, warlock pvp is great fun and in all honestly I won't leave it forever, i've just been a bit bummed with the res changes and the HUGE difference it's made to my survivability so fancied trying something else.

On the mage I know I'll still be wearing cloth, but the Frost Nova, Arcane Explosion, Blink combo is amazing (played a friends for a bit). All in all i love the little bugger so far.

And as for the traitor comment made by Withefel, Dotz will always be my main, don't you worry

In all honesty, this expansion is the melee expansion. Any caster is the underdog now. He's not a traitor. But a true caster.

And casters should stick together.

I love both mages and warlocks and I never understand why they hate each other when really they both have common enemies.

Just to throw a spanner in the works, my (cat) drood's now at 34, the mage 25, the lock however is progressing into ulduar nicely, 4 bosses down :-)

I love pvp, LOVE battlegrounds and have a love/hate relationship with arena. Arena is very plate favored atm, and rogues love us clothies. We are at a very big disadvantage in that. Some warlocks are very good and excel, but its also still very much so that the rich get richer. A person that was in full furious last season in all slots, will be at a HUGE advantage when starting the this season. Also with arena your partners are a huge factor. Destro seems to be the spec of choice for many and we all know how powerful destro is, but that has just led to a lot of QQ and painted a big bulls-eye on our heads.. bigger than it was before. So yeah warlocks are still fun to play and as was said challenging. Why is it more challenging? Because its more difficult to play successfully now. I have no negative feelings to anyone that rerolls. We have no defense and are easy targets. It amazes me that plate wears are able to dish out so much damage so quickly sometimes.. they have defense AND offense. Must be nice.
