The Stepford Children of Goldshire

This is actually a post from my blog... but I feel it needs to be shared as far as possible...

My imagination is my worst enemy. I love scary movies… right up until it’s time to turn all the lights out and go to bed. Just last night I watched “Just Like Heaven”, you know, that romantic comedy with Reese Witherspoon. Admittedly I was watching it because I couldn’t sleep, and it didn’t really occur to me that a movie with GHOSTS in it might not be the best move. Of course I went to bed and every creak of the house had my eyes nearly bugging out of my head before slamming shut just incase something really was there.

I was browsing the World of Warcraft forums the other night in my procrastination about web hosts when I found a rather interesting thread. Originally posted by Risingred from Dragonblight, I found it over on the Zul’Jin forums. The original thread is already up to 39 pages, although there is still no “blue response” as to why this is…

The story is about a little house directly north of the Goldshire Inn. For those who have never played Alliance, Goldshire is the area just out from Stormwind in Elwynn forest. Alliance are usually ushered there around level 5 or stay until level 10 or so.

See there it is, looks rather quaint doesn’t it? Head Directly north of there though…

The first night I played WoW my best friend and I went to sleep on the bed, upstairs in that house. The room was empty.

Imagine my suprise when I opened my eyes the next evening to find all the children around the bed.. staring at me.

Cue the Psycho music!
