My pet is usually on passive during Guantlet on Thorim so he doesn't start attacking something sheeped. And yes, I always have already attacked the boss when I tell him to follow since I cast CoD and Corruption on the boss as I'm jumping down and I'd rather teleport him when I'm already in position.

Ya know what? If you get stuck on Arena duty to provide extra AOE; That new Void Walker Sacrifice bubble is one of the best things they have ever invented. Sure you won't have your best DPS, but its better than being dead. If you're Demonology spec its even better with all the physical damage mitigation and the ability to insta-summon another demon in phase 3. |

Depending on fight, attack with Pet (CTRL-1) Where Step 1 is what I think most people are missing in the instructions when they say they can't make it work. |
