Re: Yogg-Saron
There is no way a Warlock should get Show of Faith -- it's so good for an mp5 class. Show of Faith - Item - World of Warcraft That would be very greedy IMO. |

Re: Yogg-Saron
We seem to be having troubles with people running through clouds during P1, and even when they avoid them, getting close enough to the center makes it difficult for the tank in the center to keep the mobs close enough to sara, any suggestions? (for starters, we knock the mobs down about 50% health before we move them towards the center, and we stack at the door if that helps) also spec wise I tried affliction (for the first time after all the nerfs) and had alot of troubles keeping steady numbers (because i spent most the fight trying to get close enough to the center, and i was only nuking the mobs close enough to dying) I tried my normal deep destro, and found it alot easier to handle the mobs, but still found myself running in circle looking for an opening. I've considered specing into shadowfury for the fight, and making more of a survival/burst destro setup, seeing how there is ALOT of raid damage going on. any advice would be much appreciated Thanks ladies and gents! <3 |

Re: Yogg-Saron
Affliction really kicks in on Phases 2 and 3. Lots of tentacles to DoT up in Phase 2 and in Phase 3 you will be Drain Souling most of the time and can even conintue Draining as you turn away, making afflocks one of the only classes that can continure DPS while avoiding Lunatic Gaze. But sucking on Phase 1 is just something you have to live with. |

Re: Yogg-Saron
affli on yogg will only shine on the hardmodes really where the DPS really does matter the rest of the time so for 4,3 and 2 watchers deep destro will do just fine. |

Then use: /script SetCVar("cameraDistanceMax",50) And then you can scroll out even further. At least I think that was the way to do it...been a long time since I had it done. This should make seeing the clouds much easier. But I know that people with video settings all set to low sometimes don't see clouds well either, so if they are having trouble seeing them, have them increase some of the settings..dont' remember which. We just tank in the middle and have melee run out when they are going to explode. But everyone has to avoid clouds or you will get overrun for sure. We can catch up if it happens once, but not twice. If you are having trouble getting through P1, I'd suggest going Destro and having 2pts in Destructive Reach for abit. Destro is good for P1 and P2, and works for P3 too. Later if your guild gets to P3 pretty easily, but needs more Yogg dps, then go Affliction. |

Re: Yogg-Saron
No. They dont not.. DOTs are fine. I am 99% sure its just direct damage attacks that keep the stacks up.. |
