We're progressing on hardmodes now and the only encounter where I actually need to shatter is Hodir (where I push 20k burst dps). Usually I'm destro/suppression which has an even highier burst damage potential as I get to stack more haste and SP. Even then, no aggro problems whatsover. On IC, for instance, we're constantly standing in the power-runes, which makes 10-12k sustained dps fairly easy to achieve. In that occasion, vigilance is enough to keep me from shattering. If aggro is a problem, take a close look at how your tank 'itemizes'. That's bound to be the reason. |

I dont know if you realize this but you can now drain shards off friend in a duel.. so in ulduar when I run out or low.. I just duel a raidmate outside and drain soul on him till im full again.. you can also drain shards off the training dummies now.. i am destro spec and do go thru quite a bit.. but being able to drain em off people without killing them is way too easy.. |

ask a healer to stay at the entrance of the instance (not in it) dual him and drain soul while he heals himself bingo 10 shards in 2 mins continue run |

This is prob already in thread, didn't read it all, but I just dual someone and use rank 1 drain soul. Rank 1 drain soul does about 11 damage a tick, so you can drain the forever. But this is best way I found as destruction to get shards in ulduar runs. |
