Does anyone use the infernal on a regular basis?

Does anyone here use the infernal as much as possible,re-enslaving it all the time and evoking a new one every hour? If so,how much time are you able to keep it enslaved on average and did you invest points in Improved Enslave Demon? Thanks for your help.

<-- Level 63 warlock who has never ever summoned my infernal.

I have done the quest to get the summon, but never bothered to actually summon one (mostly due to me not having any infernal stones, but at the same time I can't be bothered getting any either).

Pffft, infernal, schminfernal. Doomguard for the win. Who hasn't wanted to play doomguard roulette in the newbie starting area whenever another server crashes and yours is flooded with refugees? I know I always have.

Enslave it? why would i want to enslave an infernal once i get one? Just let lose an infernal anytime you see alot of low lvls and watch from a vantage point where you can see all the action.

Re: Does anyone use the infernal on a regular basis?

I do. Enlslaving again is almost never necesary. It is in a PvP situation.

Mainly to distract the enemy and keep them busy after I died.
Mostly it is infront of the bridge AV (I'm horde). The spot infront of the AB gate at the stables is also great.
Do a little searching on the board and you will find the stories.

I have used it pretty much in the same situations in BGs.
Its also quite a good summons to land right on the top of a flag in AB. Nice stun and a bit of havoc.

Re: Does anyone use the infernal on a regular basis?

1 time for farming (you got to try that at least once in your life)
2-3 times as a grenade in wsg
1 time for ganking lowbiesin goldshire (the infernal attacks them, even if they're not flagged for pvp when i'm dead)
1 time for a guild event's ending, everyone went in the gurubashi arena and we unleashed our infernals ! The teamspeak went all "OMFG I GOT 10% REPAIR COST BECAUSE OF THE WARLOCKS" :D

We planned on sending multiple infernals on the blood elf noobzone for the The Burning Crusade release, but the level call was stronger

The demon itself is very, very weak. But its fire aura and the fact he attacks all players has a true ganking potential,.

Re: Does anyone use the infernal on a regular basis?

the lag in the newbie zones was bad enough without 5-10 infernals killing everyone.

Re: Does anyone use the infernal on a regular basis?

I use him alot in GB's just like the others said. Drop him on a flag in av or sneak into AB blacksmith backdoor and drop him on the flag for a little chaos. You'd be amazed at how many dots you can get off before they find you when an infernal lands.
