Pet + mount bug fixed on PTR

There was, until recently, a bug on the public test realms that you lost all pet buffs while mounted, even though your pet was still there. Things like Blood Pact, paranoia etc. Blue post (found here) is now stating it has been fixed:

This trouble is Fixed on our latest test version.

On the ground, when you summon your Steed, your pet is dismissed automatically with his buffs and goodness. When you dismount or are dismounted, the same pet reappears and the buffs reapplied.

In the air, it's the same thing. The pet is dismissed when you mount and comes back when you dismount. buffs come back too. This does prevent your pet from trying desperately to follow you on the ground and agro the whole area.

I'm confused... this is how it's been on the PTR's since they started like, two weeks ago. So, what's the differences? (Maybe I need to wake up...)

Also, the pets "poofed" whenever you mounted so unsure where this bug is coming from exactly. Maybe exclusive to the Euro PTR's?

Oooh. Maybe it is, I didn't realise the PTR's were different /hide. The thread and blue response was posted 20/04/07 so I just assumed it was a recent fix.

Hehe. Yeah, I logged in tonight. My pet's went poof whenever I got on a Bird, ostrich, dreadsteed, kitty, flight path and reappeared, reapplied their buffs as it usually did when the PTR's first started.

is it me or they didn't catch the problem ?

If I understand well, it means we loose our buff being on a mount. That's exactly what we don't want, do we ?

No, enslaved pets run along with you like they do currently on Live.
