Demon talents

This is a question regarding the demonology tree:

Which summoned demonic pet would provide the most stamina + intellect WITH 3/3 Fel stamina, 3/3 Fel intellect? I am trying to calculate some different surivability/damage factors but am not able to consider the amount of mana and health a felgaurd might have or other summoned pets since I do not have 3/3 in demonology "Fel" talents.

I'm pretty sure the Imp has the highest total Int + Stam, someone please correct me if I am wrong though

He might, I didn't bother to check. But if your going for survivablitiy you'll be using Soul Link and the imp has a lot less health the either Big Blue or the FG.

For purposes of calculating Demonic Knowledge's +dam buff (which I'm assuming you are doing with the wording of the OP, since Stam+Int = Damage from DK), the felguard is by far the winner. The difference is minimal between a couple pets, but the fel will give you the highest +dam overall, regardless of Demonic Intellect/stamina or no.

Well I have just had a look at my pets and:

Imp
Stam = 116
Int = 376
Total = 492

Felguard
Stam = 322
Int = 152
Total = 474

So in terms of DK for more +spell damage Imp > Felguard (although its pretty close).

lets not forget that the FG gives that extra kick of 5% more damage with MD

In some other post someone mentioned that all pets have the same int+sta..I was dumbfounded and checked that, all besides the imp do, and imp only because his bloodpact not. The only difference between the pets is how much hp and mana they gain out of int and sta respectively.

So basically, it makes zero difference which pet you use if only looking at +dam.

The int+stamina sum of any minions is the same,but the Imp appears to have higher stamina because of its Blood Pact buff. Stay tuned for the next patch,when enslavable demons will add to the DK bonus with their int and stamina which could or could not be higher than our minions'.
