Question on buffing your minions as you level

I was wodering about the value of buying grimoires for your Imp when you are at higher levels. I am currently a level 13 lock and using my Voidwalker. Should I still buy grimoires for the Imp while I'm advancing in levels and, eventually, get to summon other demons (Succubus, etc)?

Thanks.

Re: Question on buffing your minions as you level

I bought grimoires for all my pets as I leveled. Granted it was an added expense but in the whole scheme of things, it's nothing.

Plus, if you don't your pets are essentially useless. Who wants Bloodpact with only a bonus of 20 health?! Or a blue guy that can't hold aggro when you try to SoC farm or a myriad of other diminished abilities because when you reach level 70, your pet won't be effective at all if you didn't buy him or her those grimoires.

Yea I would buy them because at lower levels you will use all of them depending greatly on what mob you are dealing with.

Always train up all abilities that you have access to, which includes your pet abilities. Part of being a warlock is flexibility to situations, and you never know when an ability that you've neglected is suddenly going to mean the difference between success and wiping the instance run.

I am buying them. They are cheap and gold is easy now. Saving 100g at 40 is very nice. I use any and all of my pets as the situation merits.

Definitely buy them if you can afford them, if you don't have the money then get it over time and either spend less or more time in the AH - Either quit buying stuff or sell more stuff!

On the same note, ALWAYS purchase your talents as soon as you can. (I am 70 now, but if I was solo grinding and dinged, I would finish the quest I was on and hearth to org....you only need to do this on the even levels)

From level 60-70 you learn new things on each level. Can be useful. IE Fel Armor rank 2 you can learn at level 69. Nice if you wanna do some level 69 BG-ing.

Re: Question on buffing your minions as you level

If you find that you absolutely never use one of the minions, feel free to skip buying its grimoires. However remember to update them, should you ever decide to start using that minion. Many pvp-ers use little or no Succubus and Felhunter, after all.
