2 Petish questions!

Alright so i got my Felguard last night and I was overall impressed with everything about him except 1 minor thing. See i play on an RP server and actually RP but when i summoned my Fearsom Felguard for the first time I almost cryed who would be terrified of a demon named... Shaaron I mean seriously! So this brings up my question I know that the name of the pet is generated the first time you summon it and is linked to you from that point. Is it possible to Respec away from FG then back to it and have the pet's name changed?

The second question is prolly more talent/gear but I dont know. I also last night picked up Impsy's quest for the Abyssal Shard/Soulharvester/somesillyrobe I have pretty much decided on the Harvester for a couple reasons but i keep looking at the shard and i have 1 question reguarding it. Does the shard work with Fel Domination and if it does what does its cast time go down to? That is the only thing hangin me up at all. I looked threw 8 pages or so when i searched using the Keyword Fel Domination and only found 1 mention in this thread http://www.wowmb.net/forums/showthre...Fel+Domination so i am kinda lookin for more confermation on it.

*note* I have already pretty much made up my mind, I am not lookin for this to turn into another debate on what one is better/lasts longer/ looks cooler. I know they will BOTH be replaced eventually. Just looking for alittle clarification.

Regarding your pets name - i am affraid you are stuck with it.

Even changing your own name and transfering servers wont get rid of it...

Meh, at least your FG isnt named Toothon like mine. Hardly a name to inspire terror. More likely to get the rogue to laugh so hard that he breaks stealth. My guildies have allready coined him the name 'Tooth Fairy'.

Don't worry about the pets name mate. When I am getting stomped on by a Felguard - the last thing I am doing is checking out his name to see if I should have a giggle. I am strangley enough more focussed about getting him out of my face

I saw a Lock on my server named Cokehead (or something similar, it had Coke in it) with a VW called Krak'thang.

Shaaron...lol that's great. It's sorta like when big guys are named Kelly or Tracie...you could totally RP him as a big soft sensitive guy who is touchy about his name.

Yeah, warlock pet names are randomly generated freom predetermined "pieces," of names. My Voids tend to start with "zang'" and my succubi tend to have feminine, angelic-style names such as "Hesriel". My felpups have similar names, as do my imps. My felguard is named Flaroon and everyone thinks its silly, as well.

There used to be a way to unlearn your pet spell when you first got it, and learn it again, which would then randomly generate a new name for your pet.. I don't recall how it was done exactly, but it was close to 3 years ago that I last read about this, and I'm sure the "bug" was "addressed".

...And in any case with a felguard naemd Sharon, I seem to recall a certain song by a certain Johnny Cash, about the toughest sucker around, and how he got to be that way..

"My name is Sue! How do you do! Now you gonna die!"

Regarding your Fel Dom question, I'm pretty sure it only affects the spell and not the trinket effect.

I've enjoyed all my pet's names, though I can't remember my felguard's name (haven't specced for him for months) My favorite is my VW - Hukphog. I like switching the "h" and "f" sounds around when I address him.

First On pet Names, There Used To Be A Workaround, But Blizz Found Out About It & Patched It. your Stuck With Whatever Your Pet Names Are Now Unless Another Bug Comes Along.

About Fel Domination It Works On All Pet Summons. The Trinket Works Just Like A Summon. Now The Summon Time Depends On Wether you Have Master Summoner. Fel Domination Drops Summons Down 5.5 Sec & 2 Pts In Master Summoner Drops Pets Summons Down 4 Sec. So When Fel Domination Is On Pets Summons Are .5 Sec & Trinket Means Free VW. When you Have Fel Domination On Mana Costs R Almost Nothing Any Way, So Trinket Is More For Xtra Tank Without Wasting Shards. Comes In Real Handy.
