Infernal, HELP!

yearh i am level 50 now and i just got my infernal

pretty coll btw, but my problem is when to use him, i mean yearh he does alot of damage but my vw is alot better then i am soloing and my felhunter and succubus is doing the thing i use to deal great damage (they damage nice and they doesnt turn over and kills me after 5min.). So when am i supposed to use the infernal?

Wherever it's fun. It's a novelty spell. It has very limited use except from cool/lore factor. But it has uses nonetheless. Like stuning several people in PvP and distracting them (most of them will instictivly go for him), while you fear them or DPS them.

I got my infernal at 51 I think & never got it out yet. A friend & I were grinding felcloth in felwood (before BC came out) & a horde warlock came to try to gank us. We killed him so he came back with his infernal so i banished it & killed him again.He came back with a hunter & some others so we had a few friends just up the road & all out war ensued, he never tried the infernal trick near us again

I get my infernal out in Northshire and Goldshire for amusement.

I used it properly in Andorhal to help with killing Araj and the adds - I think he died, but by then he had taken out so many mobs and got the health down on Araj to such a level that it was quite easy to kill Araj, and not worry about the infernal breaking loose.

so as i see it the infernal is mainly used for show of? and a bit pvp well thanks anyway

Ooh, I see a Gnome from Sunstrider. Though I am Horde, I can't help but feel a certain bond with fellow Warlocks, should you ever need help, give me a call. :P

Get your Infernal out, and hearth to IF... People love to beat up infernals in IF... :P

If the game starts to get boring, pull out the Infernal... get into a really big fight, and see if you can kill the mobs off before the infernal breaks... Ok, not the greatest game, but still...

Infernal is a great tool for soloing a flag in AV.

Just drop it on the flag NPC defenders.

Run up and do howl of terror once they all agro onto your infernal.

Cap flag whilst they run around like headless chickens and then reagro onto your pet.

Lots of fun in av. Find a place where they are trying to zerg your defence and throw him in right at the pinch point. It almost always stops them in their tracks. I was surprised at how long he managed to last out their. I then saw a horde lock try the same thing, but I just banished it. So you can win some and lose some. Definitely not a pet I use often by any means though.
