Felguard for heroic runs

Hi, I was testing tactics with felguard in heroic instances, and i found one way that seems work very very well.

how? well its simple felguard not alive to that hard mofos if he grab agro but can stop them or almost all of them.Turn off all the felguard abilitys, just leave intercept on, and put it in passive mode, when my group pull a group of mofos i send my pet with intercept (and 2 secs stun) to the mofo that tank go grab and or just wait he got hit 1 or 2 times to send it, with the stun i give the healer 2 nice seconds to heal and to the tank 2 free secs to grab agro on that mob.

With this tactic i start doing heroic instances without wipes cause of one mofo resist stun/taunt and healer do a too much fast heal without tank grab enought agro. With this and DC you can protect all your group mates and he does a nice dps (yesterday in slave pens he do 150kdmg thats not is a big damage but all damage is welcome to me). If you are demo test it and you see that 2 secs is a huge diference.

Re: Felguard for heroic runs

My impression: The Felguard is two-hitted too often to be a valid off-tank. If the healers puts a Hot on him and I heal them myself it works okay, but then again I have troubles doing damage. While I enjoy intercept and his damage, heroics is just too hardcore for him in many cases.

The Succubus is much more powerful in Heroic in my opinion. You need good concentration and/or a Focus/Seduce-Macro and Timer to be successful though.

Side Note:
I don't know about the rest of the audience, but I would prefer a different term than "mofo" for mobs or enemies...

Re: Felguard for heroic runs

Sorry for that term, i ll use mobs and enemys then.

This last imes that i had use felguard, he not take any damage, and he was alive all time, diferent history with bosses then i was using imp. And i save the tank 5 or 6 times, priest 3/4 and a mage with agro troubles tons more times, cause that mobs was stopped and give time to the healer end his heals and tank recover agro from uncontroled enemy or one mage cast resheep or root, i know that seducce works fine, i am just giving another point if any of you wanna test it and see how it works. To me felguard using this tactic is better that succubo that die in 1 hit in heroics, and if she is doing cc dont make much more to the group.

Re: Felguard for heroic runs

I use FG in heroic & raid. Can't see where's the trouble. Of course, sometimes it's better to use the succy or the imp, but it's all about micro management.

My pet is alive after The prince Malchaezarr & Aran, and just blow everything up on its way.
