Don't laugh too hard
Hi,
I'm new Level 9 Warlock w/Imp, how do I train it with the rank 2 firebolt I bought? I have tried dragging the new rank to my Imps toolbar and to him after clicking on him, nothing! It just stays in my pouch... also what level do I have to be to heal him and how do I do that? I know he can't drink potions... Thanks for any and all help ![]() Last edited by Akasha; June 18, 2007 at 05:46 AM.. Reason: Please don't post in all pink. |

Re: Don't laugh too hard
Welcome to the Darkside....
Nobodies laughing (well made a chuckle in shared pain), many of us have had that moment on our first pet class. To train your imp all you have to do is click on the book with your imp out (don't hold and move it, just click). To heal your pet you need the spell heath funnel, which you get at level 12. If you fire off a corruption and a shadow bolt, then start wanding you'll pull the attention of the attacker before they do to much damage and between you and your imp they'll die before they can hurt you much. Hope that helps |

Re: Don't laugh too hard
Also note for future pets you'll require items called soulshards to summon them (this stumped me when I first started). You can get soulshards by using a skill called Drain Soul on a mob thats about to die. And i suggest using bandages instead of Health Funnel to heal your pet, its much safer that way.

Re: Don't laugh too hard
I highly suggest using the addon called, Grimorie Keeper. It'll help you sort which books youve bought for youre pet and which you need to buy. When you start getting more pets, it gets quite confusing.

Re: Don't laugh too hard
have your imp our, and right click on the spell you bought, and it will teach it to him. and bandages are great for healing your pets, but be sure that you are out of combat, because if he gets hit while youre band-aiding it up, you get interrupted.

Re: Don't laugh too hard
I had a look around for that, and it doesnt look like its been updated since the latest patch. Does it still work (and is it really worth getting, now that i am 65, going on 66)
