Capture Demons like hunters do beasts?

So, hunters can capture beasts - train them and keep them - a limited number of them anyway.

I wish we could enslave and then capture demons the same way.

Anyone with an inside contact at Blizz - I implore you to suggest this to the developers.

Re: Capture Demons like hunters do beasts?

The idea sounds intriguing and has been uttered very often and I bet that Blizzard thought about this long enough.

My hunter friend told me about the way how pet variation was vanishing over the time and I must admit, I'd bet it would happen to us, too.

They had horrible balancing issues with the ammount of different pets, so nowadays hunters just get the "base" class. The only difference between the certain pets of one race are looks, the level, and the default spell/spell levels they know. So a cat is always a cat. They even normalized movement speed and attack speed. It's almost silly.

Our enslave spell is rather comparable to a priest's mind control. I'd like to see some demons for us, for sure. But I doubt it will be the variety of demons we currently may find in Outland.

Re: Capture Demons like hunters do beasts?

Yes, it would raise one nerf following another like for hunters.
I remember the "Creature Handler" profession in SWG (whoever of you played it). It was nerfed to death due to balancing issues. The result was a complete remove of the "Creature Handler" - that made me quit ;)

But I'd love to maybe get some epic quests for some unique features of your demon. Hard to obtain but gives some variety to demon handling.

Re: Capture Demons like hunters do beasts?

No, I dont want to happen what happened to the hunters: peting(or whatever) an elite turn it into normal pet...nearfing it...
Tonight I will visit the Nagrand elite to get some Mark of Sargeras and Fel armament for my Aldor rep.
That fella, the 68 elite(looks like the felguard) hits with 1k at a time, combine that with demonic sacrifice and kill'em all.
To bad that Nagrand has began to look like STV, at least on my server, everyone is getting crazy and I cant farm in peace...
To bad I found late about that elite...but is good that we can still use it so tonight red means dead in that area...
