spent about 20 miuntes in the moonkin area south of Everlook, on the map there are 3 caves there, the moonkin have a pretty good spawn rate so it shouldnt take to long

Re: Epic Mount

I think I cleared the 3 cave spot somewhere in the area of 10 times to get all the blood I needed. Drop rate was horrible for me.

Re: Epic Mount

waiting till 63 will make things go that much quicker for you, but the drop rate isnt too bad. took me an hour from memory. SO much easier then the grind for the epic flight mount. I have just reached about 5080 gold, and am wondering how much to keep in reserve ? i think i will wait till at least 5.5k before the big spend, as we're entering Blac temple now and repairs / consumables etc all cost money.

Then again, I dont do that much flying, and its a quick trip from the scryer FP to BT. And i've survived this long going at 80%. WHo needs 280% ?
stupid question i guess :-)

Re: Epic Mount

it was hell getting the flaming horse lol.fullstop.
no plans to farm for epic flyer till i get 275 enchant...which im too lazy to get lmao. and then, ive no idea what to do next...dailies 100g/day when this guild of mine decides to help with unlocking ogrila, no idea how profitable primal farming is. getting 275 enchant = large pris shards, planar essence and arcane dust = lots of cash $.$ i think, but in 1 sentence, i can tell you why i havent begun and am stuck at 700g. i am too lazy.

Re: Epic Mount

finally got the epic mount and might i say it was worth the wait. I had to have help with 2 of the q's but god dam it was a fair old scrap at the end. i must say having read posts on the dreadsteed a lot of people have said you shouldn't bother getting the mount and just buy one but i persoally think it is definately worth the graft and patience not only for the gameplay but hey its a warlock mount and a mighty fine looking beast it is too.
Im nearly 66 now and the flying mount is just around the corner and what ive been told it costs 1000g i think by 70 i should have well over enough

Also if you actually are into the story and lore of the game, then the quest chain is interesting. You actually steal your horse from a demon on another plane, hehe.

Whoever told you it cost 1000 was having you on - it costs 5000 for the skill, then around 200 on top of that for the mount itself.

I have been 70 since August and I still dont have the epic flyer...

Re: Epic Mount

A normal flying mount costs 900 g. (800 for the riding skill, 100 for the mount)
