It may be just me, but I think this emote was really supposed to be for the succubus.. come on, it it WAY more in character for a girlish pet to go "seeing other warlocks!" ...and on the other hand, that succubus phrase about "I'm bothering you? I'm not touching you! I'm bothering you? I'm not touching you! I'm bothering you? I'm not touching you! There, now you're hot AND bothered" fits the imp's role way better.

So mismatch wouldn't so be strange, if we think the felguard's words were supposed to be for the Doomguard, like the "What happened to your friend?" when you summon him (since the doomguard ritual kills one of the summoner).

I never noticed that but you're right... I wonder if Blizz did that on purpose, kind of an easter egg type thing?
And personally I think it was definitely worth the shards to summon each of my pets 5 or six times and see what they all said lol (except the felhunter obviously) And to get them to say things like the imps speech you have to dismiss them manually, not just summon a different pet.

You just have to click them over and over again...they'll say their whole speech.

My imp started saying that after I had installed Burning Crusade.
He usually says it after I've had him Fire Shield a number of people in my group.
It always makes me laugh as well as the others in the raid.

I remember the first time I saw a succubus. It was on my first character, a human mage somewhere around level 8-12. I come strolling along behind the inn in Goldshire and over on the dock, where you learn to fish, there was a group of people standing along with this winged, leather clad, female with a tail. I'm sitting there staring at this thing thinking " Holy shit! What class is this. I think I rolled the wrong toon." I even tried to whisper her and ask her what class/race she was. When that failed, I asked in /s. I guess nobody was paying attention cause no one laughed at me. I figured it out later
