DoomGuard with CoD

Holy crap, my CoD finally spawned the DoomGuard on Bal. I wanted to enslave (I think I can), but an Ally rogue trashed me (don't they always). After running AV for umpteen-gajillion times, that's a first for me. Quick question: he can be enslaved ... right?

yup...you can also solo the questline at 70 to get the ritual to summon him and not wait for procs.

Ritual rules! Especially if you're in a group with 4 people who are a bit clueless

yes, as a matter of fact if you fear a deeprun tram rat a few times and apply CoD it works. tried it my first and didnt expect it to proc. Needless to say I had to walk from elwynn forest because he broke my enslave. Fun to banish/unenslave them and leave them for lowbies getting on, local defense can be fun. Does not work on rats in SW though.

Something I've always wondered. Can CoD spawn a Doomguard even if the lock hasn't done the Doomguard quest?

You sure can ... I never did the Doomguard quest (maybe some day), but I smacked an amped CoD on Galv the other day cause we were a bit short on help ... When it went off, it was enough to kill him & bang !!! there he was, my first Doomguard proc :-D

Sadly, before I could get CoS on him then enslave, others killed him off

Thanks for the replies. I had a feeling I could. I've seen others summon that DoomGuard and I asked around. It is a fairly involved quest, but sounds fun. World2er, I'm with ya... if the rogue hadn't killed me, my raid-mates were killin the DoomGuard. Pretty funny. I knew it was close, but never expected it to proc. Fun stuff.

I remember an old guild went back to MC for the hell of it. Got to the um...boss before Rag and used two or three DG's to offtank most of the Nagas. Fun times.

Managed to get a doomguard to spawn during a bossfight..

We always put CoD on 2h Axe when fighting Kael'thas... whoppa, and there was a doomguard for a split second, AOE got him pretty fast. Tried to find him in the WWS but I guess he didnt have time to get noticed
