Re: Buffing your pet

Ouch.

Also, With DK (even nerfy DK), pet buffs increase your spell damage too.

I'd tell the priest I wouldn't continue without the pet buff. ...and then when the priest wants to hearth, repair, and get summoned. Tell them that preists are the only class warlocks cannot summon.

I have done this in the past... just realize (if you don't know already) that your toon eats the food and your pet recieves the buff. When I was questing in ZM I always had plenty of sporeling snacks for my VW and it was very nice. Since then I've been pretty slack in getting this stuff together for raids. But I bet the extra spirit would be nice for my little imp.

Re: Buffing your pet

I think Paladin greater blessings deserve a special mention, with regards to the imp. Normally the buffing a warlock with a greater blessing also buffs the imp (and vice-versa), but if the imp is phase shifted they will not receive the blessing. You can use this to get a 30 minute Blessing of Wisdom for your imp and a 30 minute Blessing of Salvation for yourself, with only one paladin.

Re: Buffing your pet

I always get the raid to buff my imp as I'm always on imp duty. I just have to remember to unphase him before group buffs and rephase him before we start the fight. Make sure he gets int, spirit, wisdom, kings, and gift of the wild. He will always have lots of mana for the taking.

Re: Buffing your pet

I always make sure my imp is buffed with Wisdom, kings, spirit and Int...anything to give him more mana and more mana regen for when i need to dark pact....where applicable of course. Keep in mind that if you need salv instead of wisdom when only one pally in raid...you can ask the pally to single buff your imp with wisdom then phase him and then ask him/her to give you salv....the imp will keep the wisdom buff otherwise the imp will get whateve r you get when he is unphased.
