Re: so about killing the puppy...

Just a comment on the prince fight as 0/21/40, I don't remember using any special techniques besides waiting about 6 sec after initial tank engagement. I simple dps away, at full force, until threat capped, then soul shatter, dps at full strength, wait a while at thread cap, etc etc.

However, this could simply be because we have good SSC level tanks, or maybe simply just good tanks.

Straight DPS fights are always the easiest/best for 0/21/40, nothing much to think or be wary about except for looking at omen and pressing soulshatter twice in a boss fight, and repeating jabbing at the corr/CoD/SB buttons ^^

And yes, i sac the succy for this fight as well. There are few fights that i would sac the puppy for, and this is not one of them. Without saying, the imp and void never gets sac.

Re: so about killing the puppy...

The succy sac will always out dps the puppy sac. This, however, is with the assumption that you will always be getting healed. Part of it could be your healers. They may not quite get that when you need healed..you REALY need to be healed. Part of could also just be their gear. Assuming your group is working on Kara, and they are working with mostly T4/Kara drops, perhaps they don't have the best gems yet, etc, you could be too much of a strain in some boss fights. That said, there will be some boss fights that will have certian points where they healers just can't spare the heal for you. Gruul passed 10 growths, Prince during phase 2, Nalorak in bear form could be a problem, and these where the guys that healed me while I drain tanked attumen (threat capped, CoD going off in seconds, SS failed to hit, tanked him the rest of the fight after CoD poped, and that was with 42% threat reduction) Eventually you'll get a feel for each other and as you figure boss fights out, you'll know when they are being strained and you need to find other alternatives to regen your health/mana pool.

Also you may be stuck with too much T4 gear. The tier peices realy aren't balanced towards the nuking spec. They focus a lot more on stam than they do intel, especially so with T4. By and large you will most likely shy away from the tier pieces, with a couple exceptions, as a nuker, but with T4 you may not have that option as much, meaning your health/mana ratio will probably not be as optimal for destro.
