Dream Pet
Would like to know what other pets the community wish we would have. This is beyond good ole enslave but as permanent pets.
I'd like to see us use the Helboar, or even Felboars...but then that's prolly from loving the boar I have for my hunter. I'd also like to see us use those huge Hindu goddess looking demons (various names depending on where you are) the first time you see them is in the Pools of Aggonarr (sp). Not so much for their abilities but just for the cool skin used for them...not to mention they are huge While I'm at it would the female locks (toon that is) like to see a summonable incubus instead of succubus? For those who don't know the incubus is basically a male succubus. |

Eredar....Highest ranking magic users of the legion.
And succubi seduce and corrupt the souls of men. Incubi torchure you, inflict pain, drain the life out of you....I think succubi tend to be a more pleasant fate in general... |

Re: Dream Pet
Yeah, another mini caster class for warlock would be cool. Like a more powerful imp or something like that.

Re: Dream Pet
Personally, I like the idea someone else had about being able to have a familiar. I think it would be cool to be able to summon/train/talent one type. Say you put points into a crow/raven/owl or you could put points in a snake or a cat. Each could have pros and cons which would help breathe life into speccing and the different utilities of each.
An example use is the raven could be used like the eye of kilrogg.. Or, perhaps even better, could be used as another focus. Now I think that would be really interesting.. |

Re: Dream Pet
Would that work, lore-wise?
Apart from the fact that our demons have a name, I thought the general idea of summoning a demon is that it is a different one each time? I may be totally wrong, of course! |

Re: Dream Pet
Well if that's the case then Blizz itself is stretching the fabric of lore because every time I have to re-summon my demon it has exactly the same name as the last one.
I'm being facetious, I understand that logistically it's just not practical to conjure up a new name every time you re-pull a demon out of the nether and not expect to get a duplication... especially at the rate that 1-9s go through imps... but still, either it's the same demon re-summoned (and therefore can be trained/enhanced) or it's not. Then again, maybe demons have some common names equivalent to John or Dave or Pete. LOL |
