Re: Dreadsteed, worth the time and effort?
In the beginning I didn't think it would be worth it because it's a VERY long process but when I hit 60 I was actually telled by a lock who was wanting to help other locks get their dreadsteeds. I was surprised but very pleased. She had most of the mats and with a little time and solo'ing I was able to get the rest. She then gathered members from her guild and we did Strat for the final deed. It was not super easy but absolutely well worth it. I have an awesome mount and was riding around on the epic before others could even get theirs.
If you just ask a couple of locks on in the major cities to see if they have the extra mats/time they could possibly help you or even getting guild members to help you works too. You'll be super pleased with the end result! I think in total it took me maybe a week of just evening playing to get it. Good luck!!!! ![]() |

Re: Dreadsteed, worth the time and effort?
I'm currently doing my quest. Have all the mats and am just waiting on the W/e for my guildies to be available for a run. There is no way I'd just drop what 750g?? on an epic mount. Nope. This is a lot more satisfying. I may actually not have saved that much g but at least I didn't just walk up to a NPC and buy it.
Do the quest! Go on, you know you really want the Dreadsteed! (I know I do ;-) |
