Somethign weird happened today. I rode into deathkennel on my 70 warlock to meet up with a friend who just started playing. Inside the chapel where you get your first quests, I saw an exclamation mark. Curious as to why I'm seeing a quest here at this level, I checked it out.

Apparently, she wants to teach me how to summon an imp... and give me 7g, 59s...?! wtf?

I went and grabbed the three skulls quick and turned it in. Didn't change anything with my spells, but I did get a free 7g

You already did the quest for summoning IMP. The whole thing is that you are probably undead so you started near Undercity but say you were Blood Elf you would start in Silvermoon City. So there are quests for each class at certain points. Only mistake blizzard did was allow all classes to do all quests. Now at level 70 your character is not awarded experience but is awarded gold instead. So that is where the gold comes from.

Deathknell is the undead starting point and that's the undead version of summoning the imp. Unless he went all the way over to the orc city or blood elf as a lowbie I'd say it is a bug.

hehe, you may be able to retake it.
hapened to me with the voidwalker (I think) Q. got to org and picked up the quest, I was 67 when it happened so I thought glitch and ditched it. Same again at 69 so I done it to get it over with... didnt want to run to ! everytime I was there... got about 40K exp from doing the quest, but then it happened again lol, took it and opened a ticket.... didnt get to speak to GM but they said nothing was wrong. Ditched the Q and it never reappered.

Also managed to get 7G ish from a troll starting Q as a 70

Thing is, I did the quest there already as an undead warlock, it's really letting me repeat the quest, for a bunch of free gold.

I went to respec after the last patch- where you don't have to "relearn" spells you had already learned before respeccing. I always check to see if there are any spells i have missed & found that i could learn the summon felstead (level 40) mount. I actually did this at level 40 so why again?
The only thing i can think of is that when i did this-from memory-you had to go to rachet & learn it now its just a level 40 spell at a trainer. I remember the day when there was no flight point at rachet it was a real pain for alliance on a PvP server to get there at 20 & also see the person near camp T as well.

Yeah definitely has something to do with the way they've been messing with the respec stuff lately.

Side note: I so love hearing that little imp quote about seeing other warlocks. That's the best one of any pet.
