No pet Scaling in Wotlk???

Went to the warlock fourms and kalagan in a interview said pet scaling was fine! how it is and if it increased it would be to hard to take the pet down.
- idk about you all but wtf how hard is it to take down know to where they are fine?? Killing a pet in 6 swings to long for kalagan.. need to be reduced to 2-3?

And give people a chance to see the post and reply - 19 minutes is not a lot of time. Especially given the hour.

Re: No pet Scaling in Wotlk???

Pet Scaling was one of the things that a high percentage of players (regardless of spec and area of focuse) felt really needed to be addressed. If you look at the upcoming hunter buffs (Talent trees for Pets!) then merely making Warlock pets scale with gear isn't a great problem, surely?

Quite dissapointed they feel that our pets are fine - I certainly don't miss any of mine playing a DemSac spec aside from the felhunter if I ever choose to PvP and even with his resistances he's very succeptible to getting stamped on by melee.

Hunter conversation moved to it's own thread: Hunter: Compiled List of changes coming for Hunters in WotLK I'll stop derailing this one now.

Re: No pet Scaling in Wotlk???

Crap, pet scaling was one of the main issues i hoped to see changed comming Wrath of the Lich King. We'll see once we get to 80, but I am guessing the first arena season as 80 they will be fine and then, as gear scales, we'll face the same situation.

Re: No pet Scaling in Wotlk???

The question reads "Any change for Warlock pet resilience and AOE damage scaling?" It's possible they were replying to a very -specific- kind of scaling. Who knows what the Demo tree will look like at release.

I agree. This sounds to me like they are happy with how the pet scales with regards to resilience and AoE Damage. Also, this conversation is with regards to Wrath of the Lich King, so perhaps they're happy with the scaling in the current Wrath build? Bit of a long shot with that one, but who knows. We still have a long ways to go til Wrath is out.

Yeah, exactly, they might be fine with how pet scales when new Demo talents are considered.
