Doomguard and Infernal are coming up Lvl 50!

I recently was in Netherstorm at one of the manaforges helping a friend. I says

"Don't worry Jack, I'll summon an infernal outside and bring it in, this'll be a cake walk"

"Okay he says"

So i clear a spot outside summon my infernal and "What in the smokin' bowls Magtherion?!" I say, my infernal is level 50. Flabbergasted and speechless I procede to curse of doom a few mobs and HOLY SMOKES the Doomguard is level 50 as well?!

I put in a trouble ticket only to have it removed without comment so I am wondering is it just me, am i using the wrong stones what the heck!? Give it a try next time your out and let me know what happens.

Yeah, somebody noted this a few days ago, Although I thought I read that the Doomguard was set to level 60 and not 50. I haven't tried it myself. My initial thought was that it was a bug with the patch, then i started thinking that perhaps they're making some type of change to those pets. Even still if they're tweaking/editing them I don't see why they had to be nerfed on the live server, isn't that what the PTR is for?

doomguard might have been 60, in fact I'm sure you right now. I totally agree with you that this should have been done on a test server or something.

I can't believe that it is their intent for those pets to not be at my level. So there has been no official comment from blizzard that anyone is aware of?

Yeah I'm very pissed off about the infernal. I used him on Supremus, Rage, kaz'rogal, and the dragonhawk boss in ZA(for timed you're obviously only getting 1 use and the stun on impact on the hawks is very much worth it and the immolation aura is good).

This other lock in my guild keeps accidentally summoning still on Supremus, but he can't do a single bit of damage to a raid boss now since he's level 50. GG blizz I'd have rather kept the succy bugged than break infernal.

I just happened to be passing through crossroads yesterday and to my horror discovered this glitch.

That's a grand total of 3 broken demons now

september 14, 2008, still not fix (at least for the Infernal) ... He wasn't really helpfull in the ring of blood

any blue post on that ?
