seduce problems...again :/

after the most recent patch i am unable to seduce with my succubus. She just attacks the target instead of seducing it. I have had this problem after the 2.4 patch and it came right somehow.

is anyone else having this problem?

i removed all my add ons and this did not help

sooo fustrating, people dont really take to kindly to 'sorry my seduce isnt working'

Make a macro like for example

/cast [pet:succubus, mod:alt, target=focus] seduction
/cast [pet:succubus, target=target]

That way you tell the succubus when to seduce.

There's a few ways you could change that macro like for example to make it focus your mouseover or something. This one will allow you to seduce both your target or your focus depending on whom you prefer to seduce.

If its the same problem as after 2.4 is it an issue with the pet bar or the actual Seduction spell? (I can't remember, my succubus lasts all of about 2 seconds after summoning it).

If it can be solved with a macro, here's one I use:

/clearfocus [modifier:alt]
/focus [target=focus,noexists]; [target=focus,dead]
/clearfocus [target=focus,help]
/petstay
/petfollow
/stopcasting
/cast [pet:succubus,target=focus,exists,harm] Seduction; Seduction

Or you could just change the 6th pet bar key binding to a more convenient key. It's defaulted as control-6 to use seduce. I switched it to the end key just because I like it there.

Go to key bindings and scroll down until you see the set of bindings that are control-1, control-2, and so on and switch the 6th one to what you want seduce to be. Also it will be spell lock for you felhunter, consume shadows for voidwalker, and I'm not sure what it is for felguard. Having spell lock and seduce bound to the same key is actually kind of useful.
