They patched the elixir req down to 2 a while back. Whatever resource you saw 10 on hasn't been updated since that patch.

As far as what kind of tank you should bring, I would say a pally or at least a druid since the only really hard part with a level 70 to help you is going to be the waves upon waves of adds. An aoe tank makes clearing the pillars easier as well.

Yeah, it's become considerably cheaper to get your mount as the requirements have been lessened. I believe you'll get 3 shadowy elixirs when you turn in those elixirs of shadow power. If you know where you are going, you'll only need to use one of the three to get the stardust in the Shadow Hold.

The first time I did this I ended up using two of the potions, but with Pernicious I finished everything on a single pot and got out of the hold with 5 minutes remaining. Hold off on drinking your pot until you've made it to the bottom of the cave. It is the second cave you'll pass, the one furthest from the main road that goes up Felwood. The tricky part is finding the mob you have to slay after speaking with the big demon at the end of the mini dungeon as he is back up the dungeon a little ways on a different path that is very easy to miss when you run in.

I had spent time reading it before I posted this, GREAT guide!! I guess I should have prefaced my post indicating that I had. Then, I became a bit confused about the information abound. The guide posted here doesn't indicate that it was updated at any particular time (or I totally missed it, happens ;) ) and I haven't been playing long so I do not know all of the updates. Sorry!

Still farming mats though! Al...most....there... :D

Working 2 jobs is really cutting into my WOW time, LOL! I need to get paid to play!

It's always up to date! But you're right, I probably should put a 'last updated' line on there somewhere...
