Your help needed: Felhunter Profile Page

After finally getting around to completing the Succubus Profile Page, it's time for the next pet in line: The Felhunter.

To see what kind of information I am looking for, please have a look at the Imp, Voidwalker or Succubus profile pages.

Felhunter Info
I'm looking for a general 'about the Felhunter' section. Who is the Felhunter? Where does he come from? What is his general role?

Tips & Tricks:
I'm wanting to list any neat little tricks you can do with the Felhunter... are there any?

The Instance Felhunter:
Information about the Felhunter's role in instances.

The PvP Felhunter:
Information about the Felhunter's role in PvP. Both Battlegrounds and Arenas

Talents that will affect / improve the Felhunter:
A list of all the talents that affect/improve the Felhunter


Anything else that you think should be included, please let me know.

The idea behind the profile pages is to help Warlocks learn more about their pets, and to learn how best to use their pets. Sorry, minions. So for example, I'm not after "Don't use the Felhunter in PvP, he sucks". I'm after why you wouldn't use it in PvP, what are the disadvantages etc. Could there be any situations it might come in handy.

I want it so that someone who is looking for the information, can walk away going "oooh, I get it now, I understand why ... "

I'm not sure if the Felguard page is up yet, but maybe it'd be better if we start off with that? Since the Felhunter being altered so much in Wrath of the Lich King. I can't help but think it's going to be a temporary Profile Page...

Here is a bit for the lore portion of his profile.

Fel stalkers are the demonic hunting hounds of the pit lords used to find the sources of magic due to the hound's lust for both blood and arcane energy.

Felhounds enjoy feeding upon wizards and commanders of arcane energies by using the two tentacles on its back. The tenticals are used to adhere to a spellcaster and, once latched to them, the victim is drained of their energies, leaving them as dry husks before ultimately shredding what remains.

Golden bands around the hunter's horns denote the difference between a typical stalker and the more intelligent and trained hunter. Fel hunters are trained to viciously hunt down spellcasters; even to the point of ignoring melee targets altogether.

I suppose if you wanted to get something up, you could post things as they are now then when the expansion hits add the abilities that were changed/removed to "these abilities have been replaced with xyz"... though there is still the entire "tips/strats/instances" section to think about.

Another bit of Lore...

In the War of the Ancients trilogy, Felhounds would consume magic until they were bursting with it, then they would divide into two Felhounds. One method of dealing with them involved pumping them so full of magic that they couldn't divide fast enough and would explode. The hounds would seek out any form of magic and not just from magic bearing people, one of the ancient trees of Cenarius found itself the victim of a hound attack.

I just finished reading that series and got really excited to see Krasus, and Alexstraza in the expansion! I'm sure there is a certain geeky stigma I just earned myself with that statement... but I liked the books dangit!
