voidwalker/beta question

im a level 14 warlock and is it just me or does the void walker need to do more damage.

Sorry for the noob question but do players from the open beta keep their characters or do all characters get deleted when retail comes out?

The Voidwalker is primarily a tanking pet, with the large amounts of hit points he is great for "playing warrior" and tanking while you do all the damage. Very similar to pet classes in other games, the 'tank pet' always does less damage.

This is still undecided by Blizzard, there's a debate going on the beta boards which is now up to part 5 or 6 last time I checked. It's common practice for mmorpgs to delete characters come retail, with the off chance they might be moved to a separate server. Given that Blizzard are actually asking for input on why players thing they should or shouldn't be deleted, your guess is as good as mine at the moment.

Well i do believe they will delete them all and that is fair or make perm death last hours of beta kill them all off that way :badgrin:

Hmm, I personally wish that they do allow beta characters to come over to retail. Not that it would be overly difficult, but I'd rather not start from scratch and have to tangle with all the other fresh starts again. I guess it would have to depend on how many testers manage to get to the high levels come retail.
