Can use Engie AND summoned pets?

Can we warlocks use an engineered pet alongside our normal pet?

Please reply with any CONFIRMATION (first-hand or second-hand is informative too). And to be safe let's NOT consider the exploding sheep as fighting pets (in comparison to the dragonling, chicken, etc.) since the sheep might actually work more like a bomb within the game mechanics.
