Re: voidwalker as tank
i haven't noticed much of a change, aside from not having to go to a demon trainer now and again

Re: voidwalker as tank
saw a post on this site that said VW could now OT heroic mobs with a little gentle healing (must have been specced demo)
I've only tried felguard so far and he is more resilient and does more damage. I guess if we really want to know about VW, we're going to have to try it ourselves ![]() |

Re: voidwalker as tank
I plan on trying the VW for mass pulls before poping meta this weekend. I'll report back in on how it worked.

Re: voidwalker as tank
Ill be uploading some pics when I can get them on my photoshack... I am specced 9/52/0 (no demonform), and post patch I have thus far been able to solo Uvaros (70 elite SMV), and Durn the hungerer (70 elite Nagrand) with little more then voidwalker, CoDoom, corruption.. I also do a number of immolates and chaincasting incinerate.. throw in healthfunnel when he is at 50% (imp Hfunnel reduces damage by 30%), and use empowerment (increases hp and threat generated by 20% for 30sec) and its easy mode!! the felguard is still a better all around pet imo for both PvE and PvP, but when keeping aggro off ME is essential, the new blueberry is a superior version as opposed to pre-wrath blueberry..

Re: voidwalker as tank
NOT GOOD!
I was soloing (tryin) BFD, and i got to Ghamo'raa, sent my VW waited a second and Curse of Agony,Corr,Immo, got 100% aggro and VW could NEVER get aggro back, i died. i found thought VERY odd, I've never had aprob with VW barely LOSING agro let alone not being able to get it back from a level 22 elite. so far my only bad experience, but my only exp so far with this |

Re: voidwalker as tank
The new and improved Voidwalker! 16+K health & 12+K armor without popping Demonic Empowerment!
3/3 Improved Voidwalker + Demonic Empowerment + Voidwalker Glyph gives him 19+K health over 11000 threat per second! This is approximately 5 times the amount of threat a full geared tank can do. Just let him pull the mobs, Dot everything and pop Demonic Empowerment. Heal him using Improved Health Funnel, re-dot and re-heal. His aggro will be so high you will not have to worry about pulling from him. Now with all mobs at 30% less health on bosses, you should be able to do this easily on Regular setting. Heroics are possible too I would think. |
