I can confirm that as of today the VW is still an overpowered tank. My guild wanted to go into Kara for fun and when our tank had to go AFK big blue tanked Maiden and BBW with no problems at all. He justed needed some heals on top of my health funneling.

For the record I am currently specced deep into demo. I didn't expect to use him so I left my pvp gear in the bank. In my pve gear he only had around 12k health. Still, seeing him zoom to over 100k threat in a matter of seconds and hearing the whole raid burst into laughter over vent was priceless. I wish I made a video of it.

I've already soloed Durn with my felguard. After work I will definitely have to try soloing HHM and perhaps some Outlands instances.

ydnandrew, the VW can tank HHM but soloing him really isnt possible. In the 2nd phase he will throw pumkins and you and CC you for about 5 sec while you take damage. This makes it impossible to keep the VW up on HP and he will eventually die. Maybe I just suck at soloing him, but this is from my own experience.

Had the same experience, but then I saw a video of it being done. Turns out there's a max range on his pumpkin ability. Just stand at the max possible casting range during phase 2 and the beginning of phase 3 (before he starts spawning adds) and you'll be fine.
