Doomguard in Battlegrounds

So, I had surprisingly great success with the new version of Infernal in the Battlegrounds. It came as quite a surprise to the opposing team.

I wanted to try Ritual of Doom at the beginning of Alterac Valley to see how the new Doomguard went, but I haven't been able to get it to work. I've seen 4 other people click on the effect, but no Doomguard. Is it not possible to summon him during the preparation phase?

I dont beleive you cna use Doomguard in PvP, only the infernal. I am sure i read that from blizz somewhere.

This makes me sad.

I may have to try Curse of Doom on some poor Frostwolves outside the cave and get one, although he has to be enslaved.

I am pretty sure you cant use Curse of Doom either in a PvP situation. I know it owuld be sweet to use either. Really piss some pallies off.

Doomguard you get from Curse of Doom works like old one. Has to be enslaved, works for 1min and turns hostile when enslave breaks.

I can't cast it on players, but will it work in AV on rams, wolves, harpies, etc? That could still cause some fun... I like causing chaos.

I had a doomguard proc off the ritual in the prep area of WSG about a week ago.

Not sure if they patched it yesterday.

Wow, I thought they said they werent going to allow that, only infernals. I am sure they patched it.

What's to fix? It seems to work as intended. Maybe you just had a pet out and the ritual failed (bug fixed in this patch)

I had no pet out when I cast it.

Maybe some of the 4 people clicking on it just stopped the times I was trying it. I'll give it another shot and try again.
