Imp quest giver MIA

I've been here http://www.wowmb.net/content.php?content.10 and only Wren Darkspring and Alamar Grimm are there- no sign of Gozwin Vilesprocket. Is this information current?

That was written way back at the start of beta so probably not 1005 accurate... I'm trying to get round all the guides to update them but it takes time heh. Sorry about that :?

Nah, no need to be sorry, you're doin' a helluva job And anyway, I just wound up getting the ability to summon an imp at lvl10- didn't do anything for it, just happened I'm bettin' the game mechanics have changed since you started playing.

Believe it or not I saw a level 11 without a imp or a VW. Asked why he wasn't using his pet. to fight. Came back with "I didn't get the collectors edition" Told him me neither did I and then summoned my VW. I could hear his jaw hitting the floor from my house.

I sat down and explained how things worked for us warlocks and pointed him to this site. I think he was fairly young or something cause he really knew nothing about our pets I asked him how he missed the quest person for the imp and he said he never does quests.

I also saw a level 9 once without an imp when I asked why he wasn't using his imp he came back with "bah imp is useless so I didn't get him all he does is die" So I explained a few things to him as well like how our imp is our only free summon gives us a hefty HP boost as well as a damage shield and that its not ment to tank. After this he realized how important the imp can be for us and ran to get him. Its amazing really how many folks don't know alot about our class. If we could just get more of them to join the warlock channels we could spread the word and help them learn.

Wow I'm not sure which amazes me most, the guy who "doesn't do quests" or the guy who thought the imp sucked (granted I don't use him that much but I know he has his uses)...

Though I will go on the record that, at 30, I'm starting to encounter some (though not too many) rather annoying quests...I don't even want to talk about how many people I want ot smack because they made the felhunter (uc version, probably should have done the orgrimmar version like I did for "horny" but I had to go to the uc anyway) involve so much travelling not to mention the zeppelin rides back and forth...

I did get the Collector's Edition and am actually wondering if that's why the npc that gives the imp mission was mia.

:lol: That's funny. I have had this 'rule' you could call it for a while now. I flat out refuse to help people who won't help themselves. Now this rule has an exception of course, for those that really just have no clue then I will drop a few and look at the ground hoping they pick them up, but I will not force feed them either.

An example of this... last night I was playing my Night Elf Priest, running around Darkshore someone asks in General, "Where's Westfall?" To which, I the smartarse replied with, "Next to Elwynn Forest." A few minutes silence before, "Where's Elwynn Forest?" to which someone replied next to Stormwind, but me, being the biotch replied with "Next to Westfall" and then snickered to myself.

Now it's not hard to press M, open your map and at least attempt to look for it. Especially when he was told it's near Stormwind, because even on the furthest zoomed out view you can still see SW if you run your mouse over the map. Had he have said "I have to get to Westfall but I've looked at my map and can't see it, can anyone help me out with a location?" then I would have more than happily obliged.

Same thing goes for the idiots that think I am a talking guide in game and /tell Akasha, "How do I do....?" :banghead:
