VW sacrifice?

Hi, sorry for another noob question,
By using the master summon, can we spam VW sacrifice? As in sacrifice VW to get damage shield, and summoned it again, does the shield stack? Or can I not stack it, I notice theres a cool down (as well as highly shard inefficient), but just wish to know does it work or not! Thanks in advance^^ :D

I have never seen it stack before, then again, I do not recall ever trying to stack more then one at a time. I usually only ever use it as a get out of jail free card when a pull goes badly.

i seriously doubt VW sacrifice will stack. i can't confirm this right now, but i liken it to our demon armor or the imp's fire shield

A friend of mine told me they nerfed it in CB because warlocks would use it with hellfire and slaughter groups of mobs with out fear of dying.

Yes they did but they didn't nerf it by making it not stack (I don't believe it ever has or that it currently does)...the nerf was changing it from total invulnerability to the damage shield it is today.

wrt to the damage shielf vs. total invulnerability..

it's totally useless... hasn't saved me once, won't save you from anything but two equal level enemies, if even then... bah @ fear trains...

Definitely not useless. VW Sacrifice has saved my life more times than I can count. Very useful when you're on the run. I also seem to notice that using the VW sacrifice while dazed gets rid of the daze - can be a life-saver.

Actually it has saved me now and again but only when I was already running for my life and the reason it saved me was because it protected me from that stupid daze...

I just want it to protect me when I'm running from level ?? enemies in brand new territories(i.e. getting the succubus). is that so much to ask? =/

Well, does anyone know the answer to my question? :(
I know the damage shield is not as useful in pvp, but I think it has its use in pve, as someone else said, running away from level?? ;)
