My list of BiS Warlock tanking items would be the following: Deadly Gladiator Helm - 37 stam & 20 defense enchant, 32 stam 2% armor meta, 24 stamina gem Boundless Ambition Deadly Gladiator Shoulders - 18 stam enchant, 24 stam gem Cloak of the Shadowed Sun - 225 armor enchant Glacial Robe - 18 stam enchant, 24 stam gems Vizier Bracelets of Stamina - 40 stam enchant Deadly Gladiator Gloves - 18 stam enchant, 24 stam gem Glacial Waistband - 24 stam gem (dont forget buckle) Deadly Gladiator Legs - 55 stam frosthide armor, 24 stam gem and 9sp/12sta gem Glacial Slippers - 22 stamina enchant, 24 stam gem Titanium Frostguard Ring - 24 stam enchant, 24 stam gem Gatekeeper/Keystone Great Ring - 24 stam enchant Essence of Gossamer Commendation of Kael'thas (10-man) or Void Star Talisman (25-man) Origin of Nightmares (Feral staff) Deadly Gladiator's Baton of Light Glyphs : Voidwalker, Health Funnel, Corruption (change corruption to siphon life in 3.1) Spec : Talent Calculator - World of Warcraft - last 6 points in demo are bonuses. Will be moved to Siphon life once 3.1 happens. If you are a JC, make use of those special stam gems and your 10 man 2nd trinket would be Figurine - Monarch Crab Get a healer to go with you to Zul'drak and practice on Thyrm. Good luck

hah it works. Here's the proof! Voidwalker had to go at the front as he was our hero :p on another note I suspect there'll be a fairly fast nerf to this. I don't know if I should be feeling proud by doing it this way but it's done :p Warlock pet passive avoidance, 70% damage reduction Soul link: 20% damage reduction Improved health funnel: 30% damage reduction. 0.3x0.8x0.7 = 0.168 = an 83% damage reduction from the flame breath. On a flame breath that's supposed to take 40k damage you get only 6.7k. Pretty much makes the only thing that was a serious danger to the encounter, extremely trivial.

We did this Thursday night on 25 man. I didn't even have time to gather all the gear I want, but things went really well. I'm logged out in my gear still since we tried 10 man this weekend so have a look at what I used. |

Essentially Hateful Gear + Glacial for off slots. Would that be right? Tack on an Essence of the Gossamer (easy enough to get) and I think that would give you a fairly decent buffer. |
