Pet is to close ?

Anyone else annoyed with the way your pet is on your back ? Feel like you need turn signals on your back to avoid him running up your *** .
Try and move forward to target a mob and find you are standing inside Big Blue ?

Is there a place on these boards to offer suggestions to Blizzard ? If so .. I think this should be one of them . Have the pets follow at a respectable distance ... like good little minions .

no no no. the reason they follow us so closely is because before they did this they would run far away from us and draw way too much aggro. this way they stick close and we're just as likely to draw aggro as our pets, instead of our pets pulling many mobs to kill us.

Im not talking about having them be 20 feet back.. I just want like 2 feet . The pet should not be standing " in " us when we stop .

I know what you mean. Sometimes I'll stop at a mining node and before I can target it my void has coasted right over me and it. I sometimes have to do a quick two-step to reposition it, then command it to stay.

I appreciate that it's got my back while I'm mining, but man, all up in my robe and everything! :p

zoom out

I zoom out into 3rd person view for this reason. The VW would literally sit on top of me all the time.
