Disturbing behavior from the VW

So I'm working on the Legend of Stalvan quest from Duskwood. I'm currently in Moonbrook searching for a clue. I find and open the crate that contains the clue, which in turn causes a Forlorn Spirit to appear. I killed it easily but during the fight, the undead cast Polymorph on me. My VW killed the mob and then headed back towards me. I happened to be facing the opposite direction, still in sheep form. The VW proceeded to get right next to my butt. Combined with his natural undulating movement while standing in place, well you get the picture.

Now, which building did you find this cursed crate in? I was working on that quest, and finally decided to abandon it till later because I was going crazy trying to find the schoolhouse. I clicked on every likely looking box and after killing my hundredth Defias just couldn't stand it any longer.

Stand in front of the building that is the entrance to the Deadmines and face out. The footlocker is in the last building on the left. You just gotta mouseover all the objects on the floor til you find it.

it's the one that looks like a church. it's a tiny box so look carefully.

Can't say for sure in release version, but in beta the Moonbrook part was a chest in what would have been the town hall? You know how you can tell a building just by the layout, well, find the one that looks like a town hall (although burnt out and stuff) and it's in the part where the mayor would normally stand. From memory, it's a 'Stalvan's Locker Box' or something.

it's in the townhall type building which looks like a church. i found it right in front of the area where the mayor usually stands. it's a small box, to the right of the little stairs.

I must have searched that building umpteen times and didn't find anything, so I can only assume I just overlooked it. Ok, time to get the quest again and go back and harrass the Defias. (I understand they're circulating a petition against me, but what's a gnome to do? :p )
